Apartment renovations
Renovating an apartment involves several trades working together. We coordinate each stage, from the initial assessment through to the final finishes.

Initial assessment
The process of renovating an apartment begins with a site visit, where its current condition, existing infrastructure and the client's intended scope are assessed. This assessment is the basis for defining the trades to be involved and the sequence of works. This principle applies to any renovation, but is particularly relevant in apartments, where the space and the building's shared infrastructure shape the planning.
Demolition
Where the scope requires it, partition walls, finishes or fixtures to be replaced are demolished, always with attention to the building's structural constraints.

Electrics, plumbing and HVAC
Renewing or adapting the electrical and plumbing networks is normally one of the first stages of the works, followed — where applicable — by the installation or adaptation of HVAC systems. These trades affect the following stages, so coordinating them is decisive for the progress of the works.

Plasterboard and flooring
Plasterboard allows partitions to be created or altered and prepares ceilings and walls for the final finishes. In parallel, or in the following stage, the chosen flooring is installed, depending on the material and the room in question.
Carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms
Carpentry — doors, wardrobes, bespoke furniture — is normally one of the last trades to enter the site, once the base finishes are complete. Kitchens and bathrooms involve their own coordination between plumbing, electrics, coverings and fittings, detailed in kitchens and bathrooms.
Painting, finishes and quality control
Painting and the final finishes close out the works, preceded by quality control that checks whether the work matches what was agreed before handover to the client.
One project, several trades
We coordinate the trades planned within the agreed scope under a single project, which avoids mismatches between teams and allows the progress of the works to be tracked in an integrated way, following the Rigor Method. We carry out apartment renovations in Porto, Maia, Matosinhos, Vila Nova de Gaia, Gondomar and Greater Porto in general, subject to assessment of the nature and size of the works.
Rigor na prática
One team, one point of responsibility and a sequence of works defined before the site starts.

Frequently asked questions
Where does an apartment renovation start?
It starts with an initial assessment of the property's condition and the intended scope, which forms the basis for planning the trades to be involved.
Do you have to renovate the whole apartment at once?
Not necessarily. It is possible to renovate the whole apartment or to work on only certain rooms, depending on the defined scope.
How are the various trades coordinated?
We define the sequence of works between electrics, plumbing, HVAC, plasterboard, flooring and finishes, so that each trade starts at the right time.
Do you renovate apartments outside Porto?
We carry out projects in Greater Porto and other locations, subject to assessment of the nature and size of the works.
How is the quality of the finishes checked?
Quality is checked throughout execution and before handover, comparing the work carried out with the agreed scope and finishes. Whenever a necessary correction is identified, it should be recorded and followed up until resolved.
